Our Mission.

Origin Ranch is a working ranch in Dripping Springs, Texas. At Origin Ranch every species matters. The property was purchased in 2019 and has been under holistic management since then.

We integrate regenerative practices with the scientific approach. When science is applied to food products this can mean improving economics at the expense of the animal’s quality of life. At Origin Ranch we DO NOT do that. We are focused on our animal’s health, happiness, and nutrition. These combined factors produce more nutritional density and a better tasting product.

All of our animal products are tested for nutritional value at an independent lab for both macro and micro nutrients.

Our livestock is only one part of the land regeneration. There are many gaps in this Central Texas ecosystem ,we cannot raise nutritionally dense food without the grace and guidance of Mother Nature. We have already converted many acres of over manicured grounds back to native pastures and rangelands using animal impact, over-seeding and good energy. Riparian restoration, invasive species management and filling in canopy gaps are all underway.

We are creating food forests, establishing a market garden and small olive orchard but none of these things can be successful if our landscape is not resonating with biodiversity.

We want to create the most diverse landscape possible and raise the most nutritious foods possible while working with Mother Nature. We want to be the ORIGIN for healing your bodies and minds with nutrition and nature.
